    Often intrusive IT software or network processes can interfere with the primary function of the DEWETRON system: to record data. Therefore we recommend strongly against the installation of IT/MIS software and running their process- es on any DEWETRON data acquisition system, and cannot guarantee the performance of our systems if they are so configured.

    PortS TRION/TRION3 series module slots The device is equipped with 4 slots for TRION/TRION3 series modules. The DEWE3-A4L supports all modules. ISO-11898 standard specifies a maximum bus length of 40 m and a maximum stub length of 0.3 m with a maximum of 30 nodes for a bitrate of 1 Mbit/s.

    Tab. 4: GPS specifications DEWE2/3 clock engine The DEWE3-A4L is designed for continuously measuring data, even if the external time base source is temporarily not available. Especially in GPS mode that could easily happen. Reason for that is the weather sensitive GPS reception.

    Camera trigger cable (5 m) to synchronize a CAM-ALVIUM-1800-U camera via an AUX socket of TRION modules or on the front plate of a DEWE3-A4, DEWE3-A4L and DEWE3-M4.     Touchscreen The DEWE3-A4L is equipped with a bright 15.6” wide-screen multi-touch full HD display to control the instrument. You can use your fingers on the touchscreen, like you would on a smartphone. For example, drag the sidebar from the right side across the screen to open the channel setup.

    PortS Fold-out stand The fold-out stand on the DEWE3-A4L is designed to guarantee a secure stand and to facilitate touch screen opera- tions.     The DEWE3-A4L supports a maximum of 3 screens at the same time. Dual SSD drive bay The DEWE3-A4L equipped with a drive bay for a pre-installed 1 TB SSD (400 MB/s) dedicated for data storage, as well as a 256 GB SSD for operating system and application software.

    In 2019, DEWETRON introduced a new family of data acquisition systems, the DEWE3 and TRION3 express series. The DEWE3-A4L chassis features a PXIe hybrid backplane and supports any TRION3 series modules. It is also backward compatible and does support all TRION series modules from previous generation.
