CONTROLS
Warning
Body parts can be jammed when operating
the wind deflector. There is a risk of in-
jury. Make sure that the area of movement
around the wind deflector is clear when in-
stalling and removing it and folding it up.
Warning
Objects placed on the installed wind de-
flector can be thrown into the car's inte-
rior or endanger other road users, for in-
stance in case of an accident, braking or
evasive maneuver. The objects can dam-
age the wind deflector. There is a risk of
injury or risk of damage to property. Do
not place any objects on the installed wind
deflector.
Warning
Operating the wind deflector while driving
can distract from the surrounding traffic.
There is a risk of accident. Operate the
wind deflector only when the vehicle is
stationary.
Installing
The wind deflector is located in a protective
sleeve in the cargo area.
To protect the head restraints from damage,
slide the rear head restraints into the upper
position prior to installation and removal.

Take the wind deflector out of the pro-
tective sleeve.

Fully unfold the wind deflector so that
the handle, arrow 1, folds down and
locks the wind deflector.

Open the rear side window, if necessary.
Insert wind deflector from one side of
the vehicle with the pins in the corre-
sponding mounting points on the oppo-
site side of the vehicle.
3.
To release the lock, fold the handle up
and hold it.
4.
Press the wind deflector inwardly and
up, arrow 1, to the extent that the wind
deflector can be positioned in front of
the mounting points on the installation
side.
