The convertible top drive is not over-
heating.

Vehicle speed is below
18 mph/30 km/h.

The windows can be lowered.
If one of these prerequisites is not met, a
check control message is displayed.
Operating from the inside
Opening
Press the switch backward
and hold until the sliding sun-
roof is open.
Press the switch backward
again and hold. The windows
roll down and the convertible top opens
while the switch is being pushed. After the
convertible top is completely open, the
switch can be held or pressed again briefly
in order to raise the windows.
Closing
Push the switch forward and
hold. The windows are low-
ered, the convertible top is
closed and the windows are
raised again while the switch
is being held.
Preventing an interruption
Press and hold the switch, until the
convertible top is fully open or closed. A
Check Control message is displayed when
the opening procedure has finished.
The convertible top movement is inter-
rupted if the switch is released. The se-
quence can be continued in the desired di-
rection using the switch.

Operate switch again until the convertible
operation is terminated.
Operation from the outside
When equipped with Comfort Access the
convertible top can also be operated from
outside.

Cargo area partition
With the convertible top closed, the cargo
area capacity can be expanded.

Wind deflector
Principle
The wind deflector reduces the air move-
ment in the vehicle interior when driving
with the convertible top down.
Safety information
NOTICE
When moving the front seats back, the
wind deflector can be damaged. There is a
risk of damage to property, among other
potential damage. Make sure that the
travel path is clear prior to moving the
front seats back.
