6. Maintenance and cleaning
6.1 Maintenance
This instrument is maintenance-free.
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
This does not apply to the battery replacement.
6.2 Battery replacement
For battery replacement observe the following instructions:
Only change the batteries in a dry environment

Do not use rechargeable batteries
■
Only use approved battery models, see chapter 3.7 "Approved battery"
■
Do not use power tools for screwing in
■
During longer times of inactivity, remove the batteries from the instrument.
After changing the battery, the command "Battery changed" must be sent in the app "myWIKA wireless
device" under Actions or alternatively via the Cloud.
Attention: After executing the "Battery changed" command, do not disconnect the battery from the sensor
for at least 24 hours.
