Problem
The pressure locking handle
of the appliance cannot be
opened.
Steam constantly escapes
from the steam outlet, even
though the steam pressure
function is switched on.

Cause
Food is obstructing the
overpressure lock and the pressure
locking handle is blocked.
The valve plug is not properly
placed on the valve.
This is not an error. The steam is
released automatically.
Pressure locking handle closed
(N) for a preparation programme
without steam pressure function.
Pressure locking handle open
(M) for a preparation programme
with steam pressure function.
Fault in the appliance.
Electric circuit malfunction.
Pan is damaged or not present in
appliance or not original pan was
used.
The appliance has overheated.
Short-circuit in the appliance.
Mains voltage too high.
Mains voltage too low.
Communication failure
When selecting a programme with
a high temperature (e.g. "soft fry"),
unsuitable ingredients have been
added (e.g. water). The programme
is aborted to prevent overpressure.
Remedy
Proceed as described in chapter
X "Release steam manually" see
page 40. If the problem persists,
contact customer service.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply and allow to cool down. Remove
the steam outlet and place the valve plug
properly on the valve.
Wait until the steam has been released
completely or release steam manually.
Open pressure locking handle (M) to
deactivate the steam pressure function.
Close the pressure locking handle (N)
to activate the steam pressure function.
Abort the preparation programme. Discon-
nect the appliance from the power supply.
Switch the appliance on again. If the
problem persists, contact customer service.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply and restart. If the problem persists,
contact customer service.
Insert the original pan. If the problem
persists, contact customer service.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply and allow to cool down. Restart the
appliance once it has cooled down.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply and contact customer service.
Contact electricity provider or grid
operator. Have the power supply checked
by an expert.
Restart the appliance once it has cooled
down.
Remove the unsuitable ingredients
from the pan. Clean pan and then fill
correctly (e.g. with oil for the programme
"soft fry"). Leave the lid open depending
on the programme selected X "List of
preparation programmes" see page 47.
Restart preparation programme.
