Rear seats

The seatbacks can be folded down.
Before folding down the seatbacks
Park the vehicle in a safe place.
STEP 1
Apply the parking brake firmly and shift the shift position to P.

Adjust the position of the front seat and the angle of the seat-
STEP 2
back. (
Depending on the position of the front seat, if the seatback is folded
backward, it may interfere with the operation of the rear seat.
STEP 3
Lower the head restraint of the rear seat. (
STEP 4
Stow the armrest of the rear seat if it is pulled out. (P. 446)
STEP 5
This step is not necessary when operating the driver's side (left-
hand drive vehicles) or front passenger's side (right-hand drive vehi-
cles) seat only.
