Installing The Car Seat In A Vehicle

REAR FACING MODE PREPARATION

Turn the seat in rear facing mode following
the procedure at
page
16.
Make sure that the seat is properly levelled:
45°
a child restraint used in rear facing mode
should have a backrest angle between 30° -
30°
45° from vertical. This seat is designed so that
when installed in a common vehicle seat (15°
crease) the backrest angle can be adjusted
between 45° (position 6) and 20° (position 1).
IMPORTANT! 45° MAX make sure that the
angle does not exceed 45° with vertical.
IMPORTANT! PROPER RECLINING: Newborn
infants should be properly reclined. If the seat
reclines too much, your infant can be ejected
from the seat in an accident. If too upright, it
can cause breathing problems.
Make sure that newborn infants are placed
with backrest at 45°.
