About Printer Power Modes

About Printer Command Languages

The printer moves between different power modes to conserve battery
power. To move to Normal mode from any other mode, press the
Power button.
Power Mode
Description
Off
All electronics are off, and the printer is not consuming
any power. You can only move to Off mode from Normal
mode.
Normal
The printer and the radio are on. The printer moves to
Deep Sleep mode after being idle for a configurable
amount of time.
To move to Deep Sleep mode, press and hold the Power
button for 2 seconds. The three LEDs blink once.
To move to Off mode, press and hold the Power button
for 5 seconds. After 2 seconds, the three LEDs blink once,
and after 5 seconds the three LEDs blink three times.
Power Save
The radio is on and the printer is off. The printer moves to
Normal mode when the radio receives a print command.
Deep Sleep
The printer is in a low power consumption mode, and the
radio is off. To move to Normal mode, press and hold the
Power button for 5 seconds. The three LEDs blink three
times.
The printer supports these command languages:
ESC/P (Epson Standard Code for Printers command language)
(default). For more information, see the ESC/P Command Reference

CSim (CPCL command language simulator). For more
information, see the CSim Command Reference Manual.
XSim (ExPCL command language simulator). For more
information, see the XSim Command Reference Manual.
