    After you connect your printer to your PC, you can send commands to your printer using a terminal emulation program, such as HyperTerminal. Note: The PF8d with internal Ethernet support does not have a parallel port. Connecting the Printer Through the Serial Port You can use a serial connection to communicate with your PC and run PrintSet, LabelShop, or InterDriver.

    1 Enable the USB port (only if you have a printer with internal Ethernet support). 2 Install the Intermec InterDriver® software from the PrinterCompanion CD that ships with the printer. For the latest version of InterDriver, go to the PF8 Downloads page on the Intermec web site at www.intermec.com.
