1. Tap Start | Programs | SocketScan.
Note: For the SoMo 650, tap Start | Programs | SocketScan
folder | SocketScan.
2. When SocketScan is running, a SocketScan icon will appear at
the bottom of the Today screen.
Make sure the appropriate "CF Scan Card detected" icon
appears.
Icon Meaning.
CF Scan Card 5E/5M/5P detected.
SocketScan detects the scanner and is
ready to scan.
CF Scan Card 5X detected. SocketScan
detects the scanner and is ready to scan.
No scanner detected. The scanner is
missing, damaged, or improperly inserted.
Note: If the "No scanner detected" icon appears, make sure
that the CF SCAN CARD is pushed all the way into the slot.
