Choosing a Location for the Antenna & Power Supply
Before mounting the antenna, determine a location for the wall plate/power
supply. A coax cable will have to run from the antenna to the power supply
and from the power supply to each television. A 12 V connection must also be
made to the back of the power supply. Refer to the diagram on page 9.
After finding a location for the power supply, choose a location for the antenna.
Choose a location on the roof of the RV that meets the following requirements:
1
Offers enough support for a secure installation
2
Maintains adequate clearance from the edge of the roof and any
obstruction(s)
• clearance distance of 24 in. needed from center of antenna to front of
the vehicle
• clearance distance of 18 in. needed from center of antenna to nearest
obstruction and to the edge of the roof
Then choose a mounting option below.
If you would like to drill a hole directly beneath the antenna for cable entry
through the roof, follow the steps on page 3 for Mounting Option 1.
If you would like to drill a hole for cable entry in any place except for directly
underneath the antenna, follow the steps on page 5 for Mounting Option 2.
