• Position the appliance so that it is at least
2 m away from radios, televisions, etc. so
as not to disturb the reception.
Connection
Depending on the installation alcove, the ap-
pliance must be connected before or after
installation.
• To connect your appliance to the electric-
ity supply, you will need a professionally
installed earthed socket with adequate
fuse protection (see "Technical specifica-
tions" on page EN-34).
• The socket must be installed in such a
way that the plug does not touch the back
of appliance.
• Before plugging in the appliance, check
that its input voltage corresponds to the
mains voltage in your home (see type
plate on the back of the appliance).
• Do not use a multi-socket plug.
• If you want to use an extension cable, it
must be equipped with a protective con-
ductor and rated for the power consump-
tion of the appliance (at least 2500 W,
16 A).
• After inserting the mains plug into the
socket, a beep will sound and
flash on the display. For how to set the
time, refer to page EN-13.

Installing the appliance

1. Slide the appliance into the recess.
2. Make sure that the mains cord does not
become trapped or kinked.
3. Center the appliance.
4. Screw the appliance to the base of the
recess with the supplied screw (21) and
then close the hole with the decorative
cap (22).
