Please note:
Perform the steps on both
sides in parallel.
Disassembling the chain:
1. Remove the gear motor.
2. Disassemble the outer
protective case halves.
3. Fix the chain tensioner
4. Open the chain with the

disassembly tool ).

) Disassembly tool:
– for fl at top chain:

– for accumulation roller chain:
3 842 010 511
5. Remove the drive and
return head covers.
6. Pull the used chain down
from the BS 2/....
7. Remove the sliding piece
from the return head.
Assembling the chain:

8. Drag the new chain
to the return head
with a pull-in aid.

Observe the running
direction of the chain

