9. Drag the new chain )
to the drive head with
a pull-in aid.

Observe the running
direction of the chain

10. Place the chain around
the chain tensioner
and the drive wheel
and pull in the upper
guide profi le to the
return head.
11. With the disassembly
tool, remove so many
chain links that you
can close the chain as
closely at the tensioning
wheel as possible.
12. Grease the new

chain lock ) and
close the chain.

– for accumulation roller
chain: 3 842 530 417
– for accumulation roller
chain Vplus: 3 842 538 872
13. Loosen the mount of the
chain tensioners.
Check the tension of
the chain.
14. Mount the outer halves
of the protective case.
15. Install the lower cover
sheets and the side
cover plates.
16. Install the gear motor.
