Firmware Lock
The module firmware is locked by default for security purposes to prevent the firmware
upgrade. In case a firmware upgrade is required, you will have to unlock the firmware
through the Firmware Lock parameter.

In the Module Properties dialog box, select E

Under Firmware Lock, select U

Click OK.

Before upgrading the firmware, set the ControlLogix processor to PROGRAM mode.

Once you are finished with the Ethernet configuration, you are ready to launch the
ProSoft MVI56E-61850C Configuration Manager software. Refer to the following
section for details.
