    5.1.4 Cable Connections The application ports on the PTQ-LNG module support RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 interfaces. Please look at the module to ensure that the jumpers are set correctly to correspond with the type of interface you are using.

This port permits a PC based terminal emulation program to view configuration and status data in the module and to control the module.

    You can connect directly from your computer's serial port to the serial port on the module to view configuration information, perform maintenance, and send (upload) or receive (download) configuration files. ProSoft Technology recommends the following minimum hardware to connect your computer to the module: 80486 based processor (Pentium preferred)
