Configure Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP)

Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) allows failover protection against failure of network
components. The MVI56E-61850C provides the following two PRP modes:
Simplex: In simplex mode, only Ethernet port 1 is used for data communication.
Redundant: In redundant mode, both Ethernet ports 1 and 2 are used for data
communication with redundancy.
When redundant mode is enabled, you can the monitor the status of LAN A (Ethernet
port 1) and LAN B (Ethernet port 2) on the PRP Network Redundancy tab of the Module
