Downloading from Host Computer
Connect the host personal computer (PC) to the M90 PDE
unit with a serial cable null modem. Select "COM" in the
User mode and the M90 enters the Kermit server mode
with default communication parameters 19200 bps, 8 bit, 1
stop, no parity, and no flow control. Table 1-1 lists com-
mands understood by the M90.

To set up the PC to talk to the M90 PDE unit using a Ker-
mit communications program, consult your manual for the
Kermit communications program
Windows Hyper Terminal Method
If you are using Hyper Terminal on a Windows 95 or 98 PC,
do as follows to download a file to the M90. Hyper Termi-
nal is not optimized for large files or for daily use in an ap-
plication, but is an easier method of downloading files to
the M90.
