Post-installation Check Introduction The Tokyo Bed is an overhead-mounted bed designed with variations for ceiling or wall mounting in the driver's compartment of the vehicle. The bed has gas-actuated cylinder arms to assist in the lowering and raising of the bed platform.

Lock the bed and the mechanisms so that they are in the closed position. Use a tool long enough with the appropriate drive bit for the OEM-supplied self-drilling screws (Fig. 3A) to ensure proper securing of the bed mounting rails. Install self-drilling screws in all accessible holes of both mounting rails to make sure the bed is secure and safe.

Wall-mount Bed With assistance, dry-fit the closed bed assembly (Fig. 4) flat against each wall in the front of the unit. Keep bed mounting rails level and flat against the walls. Use a cordless or electric drill or screw gun with the appropriate drive bit for the OEM-supplied self-drilling screws (Fig. 6A) to secure the bed mounting rails. Install self-drilling screws in all holes of both mounting rails. Fig.

Post-installation Check Check for loose mounting rails. Make sure mounting rails are tight and flat against the mounting surface. Check for loose screws. Make sure all mounting screws are fully installed. Check bed's range of motion for freedom from any interference. Pull the bed down to its fully open position, then push it upwards into its fully closed position.
