6.1.1.2 Installation on the VAS seat (power wheelchair)
The 491L75=ST012 adapter kit is available to install the head support
mounting kit on the VAS seat (variable adaptable seat):

2 Hexagon nut DIN EN ISO 10511, self-locking
3 Countersunk Allen head screw, galvanised
4 Cap screw DIN 6912
1) Screw the clamp fitting to the adapter (see fig. 5, item 1) using the coun­
tersunk head screws and hexagon nuts (see fig. 5, item 3, 2) (see fig. 8).
2) Position the clamp fitting and adapter on the centre of the back support
bracket on the VAS seat and screw it to the back support bracket using
cap screws (see fig. 5, item 4) and hexagon nuts (see fig. 9).
6.1.1.3 Installation on a back support with back support upholstery
INFORMATION
The 476D52=SK015/25/65/85 and 476D52=SK035/45/55 mounting kits
are available to install the head support mounting kit on wheelchairs with
back support upholstery:
► Observe the instructions for use of the mounting kit for the installation
and to ensure safe use.
► Attach the clamp fitting to the C-rail of the mounting kit using the oval
head screws (included in the mounting kit scope of delivery) (see
fig. 10).
6.1.1.4 Installation on a back support with fixed back plate
INFORMATION
The material of the back plate must be sturdy enough to support the weight
of the head support mounting kit and the counter-pressure during use. If
this is not the case, the material of the back plate must be replaced with
stronger material.
INFORMATION
The additional 477L52=SK055 reinforced clamp fitting (see fig. 12) is avail­
able to install the head support mounting kit on a back plate. The rein­
forced clamp fitting is installed in the same way as the non-reinforced
