- Page 3 PROCEDURE Title Procedure P/N PROFIRE 610 Revision: Page 3 of 7 4.8 TEST I/O AND MICROPHONES 4.8.1 Connect the DVD audio output cable to each of the four Inputs (2 on the front, 2 on the back) on the Profire 610 to individually test.
- Page 4 PROCEDURE Title Procedure P/N PROFIRE 610 Revision: Page 4 of 7 4.8.5 Test Master Volume knob on the Profire 610. 4.8.6 Connect headphones to Headphone 1 and test volume with Line Out 1 and 2. NOTE: if Master Volume is turned down, no volume will be heard in headphones.
- Page 5 PROCEDURE Title Procedure P/N PROFIRE 610 Revision: Page 5 of 7 4.9 TEST S/PDIF 4.9.1 Connect S/PDIF output of DVD to S/PDIF input of Profire 610. 4.9.2 In Control Panel - go to Settings Tab – change Sync Source to External (S/PDIF). 4.9.3 Push 5 and 6 S/PDIF input faders in Profire 610 control panel to test activity.
- Page 6 PROCEDURE Title Procedure P/N PROFIRE 610 Revision: Page 6 of 7 4.10 TEST PRO TOOLS 4.10.1 Using the DVD player as the source, connect Line Out 1 and 2 with speakers. 4.10.2 Launch Pro Tools. 4.10.3 Confirm that Pro Tools recognizes the unit. 4.10.4 Play music from Pro Tools session to verify sound plays through the unit.
