5.
Installing the chain and pulley
Install the chain ❾ for binder open/close to
lever (asm.) ❻ with S-hook  .
Suspend the chain ❾ through hole  in the
table. Adjust the longitudinal position of roller
(asm.)  so that the chain ❾ fits in the groove
of the roller (asm.)  . Fix the groove of the
roller (asm.)  with wood screws  .
(Caution) When the chain ❾ is installed in the
state that the position of the groove
of the roller and the chain ❾ is not
proper, abnormal friction of the chain
❾ occurs. So, install the chain ❾ with
care.
6.
Connecting the chain
After installing roller (asm.)  , fit the chain ❾
to the groove of the roller, put S-hook  in the
top-end hole of open/close lever  , and con-
nect the chain ❾ .
(Caution) Adjust the longitudinal position of lever
block  so that the chain ❾ smoothly
flows in the groove of the roller when
open/close lever  works.
