RS232 PORT & PC SOFTWARE
The Smart Colorimeter may be interfaced with any DOS based computer
program by using the LaMotte SMARTLink Program and Interface Cable
(Order Code 1912). The program stores customer information in a
database and records test data to an ASCII delimited file. It can be used
to download data stored in the datalogger for each test site.
The colorimeter may also be interfaced with an RS-232 serial printer,
using an appropriate cable (see Computer Connection, below) and
EDIT
setting the printer configuration to the Output below. Pressing the
button will send the test results displayed on the screen to the printer.
OUTPUT
RS232 compatible, asynchronous serial, 9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits,
1 stop bit.
COMPUTER CONNECTION
RS232-(27359-04) interface connection, 8 pin mDIN/9 pin F D-submin.
