Push Q button to select 1. ALUMINUM.
The SMART Colorimeter is ready to scan; the
correct wavelength filter will be selected. Place
the blank in the colorimeter chamber and press
the Q button one time to scan blank (Note: do
not keep the button depressed). The colorimeter
will scan and store the blank and the next screen
will appear.
Place the reacted sample in the colorimeter
chamber and press the Q button to scan the
sample. The colorimeter will scan the sample and
the next screen will appear.
To repeat the test, press the Q button to scan
the sample again. The last blank scanned is used
to zero the colorimeter for repeat scans. A
different blank can be used by pressing the s
button to scroll back to SCAN BLANK and then
scanning another blank. Scroll to and select
NEXT TEST to display the next test in the
sequence.
NOTE: In sequences 1, 2, and 3 the display automatically scrolls to NEXT
TEST after scanning sample.
