- Page 2 CFD-03F F-SERIES TAILGATE HANDLE W/ CAMERA INTERFACING SOLUTIONS INSTALLING THE TAILGATE HANDLE Follow these steps to properly install the Tailgate Handle. Step 1 Remove Tailgate Cover - Start by lowering the tailgate of the truck. Remove the tailgate cover by using a T-30 torx bit, remove (8-13 depending on the model) torx bolts that secure the tailgate cover.
