Starting Procedure
Recoil Start

Make sure the blade is free of long grass and the cutting height is set to the highest setting.

Place the choke lever to the 'START' position. This is located on the left of the central panel
when stood behind the lawnmower. See image 1.

Pull the Operator Presence Control (OPC) lever back towards the main handlebar.

Gently pull the recoil start handle until you feel resistance, then pull swiftly until the
lawnmower starts. See image 3.

Once the engine starts, move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.

Hold the drive lever against the main handlebar and the mower will propel forward.

Select the lawnmower self-propelled speed by selecting gears 1-4. See image 4.
