Replacing the track cleaning rings

ou will find that your track cleaning rings require regular replacement. Six replacement cleaning
rings are included with your Track Cleaner, and additional cleaning rings are available (Lionel
part no. 610-8461-010) for purchase from your local authorized Lionel Service Center or direct from
Lionel Service.
1. Using a small flathead screwdriver, gently push back one of the tabs found on the top side of the
rotating cleaning head. See Figure 4. This will release the disk holding the ring in place.
2. Remove the used cleaning ring.
3. Reposition a new cleaning ring and the retaining disk.
4. Snap the tabs on the disk into the openings in the rotating cleaning head.
