Getting ready to run your trolley Building your Lionel layout our set comes with four 10" FasTrack straights, one FasTrack Terminal section, one 15" FasTrack Trolley Announcement section and two earthen bumpers. Figure 1 shows the included layout that you can build with these track sections. You may choose to add more FasTrack track sections to create an endless number of exciting track arrangements for more fun, action, and variety.
Getting ready to run your trolley Recording announcements our Special Trolley Announcement Track has the ability to record 3 unique user-record- able announcements. 1. To begin recording, hold down button and release once you hear a beep. 2. The LED light will illuminate and you can begin recording. 3.
Getting ready to run your trolley Activating the announcements our Trolley Announcement track will play the announcements in sequence from Button 1 to Button 3. Button 1 Button 2 Button 3 Figure 4. Announcement track sequence buttons The trolley will stop on the track section and it will play the 1st announcement. Once the announcement has completed playback, the trolley will start moving again (If you have addi- tional Trolley Announcement Track pieces installed on your layout, the Trolley will stop at the next Announcement Track section).
Operating your trolley set Running your trolley set With track power unplugged, place your trolley set on the track. Plug in your wall-pack power supply to your trolley control box. Then plug in your trolley control box to the FasTrack terminal section.

Trolley maintenance Troubleshooting Tips Problem: The trolley activates the announcement but it does not stop on the track. Resolution: Reduce the speed of the trolley. Problem: The Trolley stops on the announcement track and the announce- ment plays but the trolley does not move. Resolution: Turn the trolley around.
Lionel LLC or any Lionel Authorized Service Station MUST be accompanied by the original receipt for purchase (or copy) from an Authorized Lionel Retailer*, will at the discretion of Lionel LLC, be repaired or replaced, without charge for parts or labor. In the event the defective product cannot be repaired, and a suitable replacement is not available, Lionel will offer to replace the product with a comparable model (determined by Lionel LLC), if available.
