General Indication & application Your City is specially designed for people who need extra support to be able to cycle in a stable and safe manner. Page 10: First Bike Ride On The City
The time has come. Your first experience on your own City! Whatever bike ride you do, your safety comes first! If it is your first time cycling on a Huka tricycle, you may have to get used to it. The most important tip we can give you is that you have to relax as much as possible while cycling. -

• The City is largely made of steel, which is considered non-combustible. The other materials used, such as plastic, rubber and so on, are not fireproof. • Wear a suitable bicycle helmet and reflective clothing to increase visibility on the road. -

This reduces the risk of falling. Cycling with pedal assistance If your City is equipped with pedal assistance, the electric motor is activated as soon as you start pedalling. Pedalling then becomes lighter. When you stop pedalling, the pedalling assistance stops as well. -

Product description Your City consists of several parts. The most important are described in this chapter. Bicycle frame The City's frame consists of a tubular metal construction complemented by aluminium and stainless steel components. Most of the metal parts are phosphated and then provided with an impact-resistant powder coating. -

With a good chain tension, your City will pedal lightly and you will not hear the chain. If you notice that the chain is too slack, have it adjusted by your Huka dealer. -

• Various (modified) pedals are available as an option. Gears If your City is equipped with gears, there is a gear hub between the pedals and the drive shaft. This is an 8-speed Nexus hub from Shimano, which is tailored to the City. -

Always make sure you inflate the tyres properly. This prevents wear and tear on your City tyres. It is also a more pleasant ride and you will be able to react better to braking and steering movements. The correct pressure is achieved when you can press the tyre with your thumb. -

Bonding Did you find out that one of the City's tyres is flat? Your Huka dealer can of course fix it. But if you want to do it yourself, here are the instructions: You will need: a repair kit (with tyre levers, glue, stickers and sandpaper), a jack, scissors, a bicycle pump and a bucket of water. -

Can the brakes not be adjusted or does the City still not brake well? Have them checked and adjusted by your Huka dealer. If your City is equipped with a hydraulic disc brake on the rear wheels, it is a closed system filled with brake oil and cannot be adjusted. A not well functioning rear brake indicates worn brake pads or air in the brake system. -

The rear light of the City is switched on by pressing the black button on the rear light once. By pressing it twice, the light will blink a few times and the automatic is switched on. The automatic light switches on automatically in the dark in case of movement. -
