Safety instructions

General safety warnings concerning the tool.
IMPORTANT. To reduce the risk of electric discharges, injuries and fire when using electric
tools, follow the fundamental safety measures indicated below. Read and follow these
instructions before using the tool, and keep the safety instructions!
Outside operations related to the use of the tool, the pole and its accessories must be
disconnected and stored in their respective packaging.
It is imperative to disconnect the pole from all power sources for the following
operations:
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term" tool" used in warnings
refers to your battery operated tool (with or without a power cord).

Work area safety
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas are prone to accidents. Never
use the equipment at night or in poor light without setting up additional lighting.
Do not operate electric tools in explosive atmospheres, in the presence of inflammable
liquids, gases or dust for example. Electric tools produce sparks that can ignite dust or
smoke.
Keep children and other people at a distance when using the tool. Distractions can result in
the loss of control over the tool.

Electric safety
The plugs on the electric tool must be adapted to the base. Never alter the plug in any way.
Unaltered plugs and suitable bases reduce the risks of electric shocks.
