7.2.6 Replacing filter element

Never use the vacuum clean er
without a filter.

1. Switch off the vacuum clean-
er and pull the mains plug
out of the socket.
2. Apply parking brakes (A) on
both castors.

3. Open the retaining clamps

(B) and remove the upper
section of the vacuum clean-
er.
Removing the filter element:
4. Lay the upper section of the
cleaner down with the fi lter
element facing upwards.
5. Open the bar handle (C) and
remove it.
6. Remove the filter holder (D).
7. Carefully remove the filter el-
ement (E).
8. Dispose of the used filter ele-
ment in accordance with le-
gal regulations.
Inserting the filter element:
9. Clean the filter seal (F).
Check it for damage and re-
place it if necessary.
10. Check the antistatic pin (G)
for damage. If necessary,

have it replaced by Nilfisk
Service.
11. Push new filter element (E)
onto the filter holder.
12. Attach filter holder (D).
13. Attach bar (C) and close.
14. Attach the upper section of the
vacuum cleaner.
15. Close the retaining clamps
(B). Ensure that the retaining

clamps fit properly.
