If your operating system or applications do not operate correctly after installing this product, please

If you cannot connect this product to the network, please check the following items.
Verify that the communication mode on this product matches that on Link
partner (such as hub/switch).
If this product's communication mode is set to full duplex mode, make sure that the link partner's
communication mode is also set to full duplex mode. If these are set differently, it may cause
lower performance, loss of data, or the connection.
For example, while a switching hub's LAN port is set to Auto-Negotiation mode, if the adapter's
port is set to full duplex mode, the switching hub's port becomes half duplex mode. Here, the
link is established between them, however, the network performance will extremely be low.
Verify the cable is connected properly.
The network cable should securely be attached on both LAN ports of this product and link partner
(such as hub/switch).
Verify the cable type.
If twisted pair cable is below the category's specifications, (see Chapter4-3 "Network cable
connection" on page 36 for details), or if it is damaged, extremely bent, or stressed under a heavy
object, communication may be disabled.
Also, if the cable is longer than max length, communication may be disabled.
In such a case, try another cable.
Verify the driver is proper.
Check the appropriate driver is installed with referring to the documents on the server.
Verify if the LEDs are on or off.
This product has LEDs around LAN port. You can see there if the link is established, or how busy
the traffic is. Check the LED statuses and their meanings with referring to Chapter3 "Names and
] button on desktop, select [Device Manager], and confirm that the network
