Delivery
The machine will be delivered in a secure condition with transport straps and banding.
Select a firm level site on which to place the machine before removing the straps, banding
and any other loose items.
Handling the Machine
Handling of the machine should always be performed using suitable overhead lifting
equipment with a minimum safe lifting capacity over and above the maximum weight of the
machine. Always ensure the machine is balanced during the lifting procedure.
Lifting Points
To ensure even weight distribution when handling the machine it should be lifted using the
three lifting points indicated in the illustration below; a sling shackle should be used for
attaching the lifting gear to the main arm.
Ensure the machine is securely attached to suitable lifting gear and is in a level balanced state
at all times during the lifting procedure. Keep bystanders at a safe distance from the raised
machine at all times.
Stand Legs
With the machine raised clear of the ground; lower and secure both stand legs to place the
machine at a suitable height for attachment to the tractor. Lower machine onto the ground,
ensure machine is in a stable state before removing the lifting equipment.
