To install the Cisco RPS adapter plate, you will also need the following tools and equipment (which
are not included):
Cisco 2600 series router
Medium-size Phillips screwdriver
ESD-preventive wrist strap
Antistatic bag (optional)
Wire cutters or scissors for cutting the cable tie-wraps (optional)

Removing the Cover

You must remove the chassis cover to access the internal power supply.
Warning
with a power switch, line voltages are present within the power supply even when the
power switch is OFF and the power cord is connected. For systems without a power
switch, line voltages are present within the power supply when the power cord is
connected.
