4.5 BOOM ELEVATION (cont'd)
IN THE EVENT OF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LOSS, THE BOOM
WILL REMAIN ELEVATED DUE TO THE HOLDING VALVE
4.6 HYDRAULIC BOOM EXTENSION
Extend boom to desired length by use of the Boom "IN/OUT"
Control. See Figure 4.3.
4.7 MOUNTING VEHICLE TO WRECKER
(a) After preparations have been made, back the wrecker up to the
vehicle until the towing sling makes contact with bumper, attach
"J" or "T" hook chains to vehicle and towbar. See Figure 4.4.
Refer to TOW SLING OWNER'S MANUAL for recommended
use of towing slings. For a particular hook-up, see vehicle
"OWNER'S MANUAL" or "AAA TOWING MANUAL".
