Installation
1. Remove the water meter's blind cover to access the installation
space for the radio add-on module.
2. Remove any foreign matter from the installation space for the
radio add-on module.
3. Take the radio add-on module from the packaging.
4. Align the battery chamber of the add-on radio module to the
installation space of the water meter.
5. Insert the add-on radio module in the installation space (Impor-
tant notes on installation!)
6. Fasten the add-on radio module with the provided screw (TORX
Plus 6IP)
When using a torque screwdriver
(e.g. FZ201-009):
– Tighten until the limit is tripped (0.35 Nm)
When using a conventional screwdriver:
– Tighten until the red LED lights up.
– Then carefully continue tightening the screw by half a turn at
most.
– Until activation of the measuring function, the LED lights up
uninterrupted for 30 seconds.
Activation of the measuring function is signalled for one hour with
flashing of the LED diode.
7. The screw must be secured with the adhesive seal.
8. Align the counter for optimal readout.
