Commissioning
Parameterisation of the add-on radio module
Before commissioning the add-on radio module with a radio-ready
water meter, it must be parameterised using the parameters of the
mechanical water meter. For this task you will need the following:
• Parameterisation software ACT50-MODULE, installed on a
notebook
• The IrDA programming and reading head WFZ.IRDA-USB as
parameterising cable
Upon commissioning, the add-on radio module must be pro-
grammed with ACT50-MODULE meter number, meter count, type of
medium (hot or cold water) of the corresponding mechanical meter
as well as the required key date for billing.
Registration in the radio network
Prior to activation of the add-on radio module, the AMR network
must be set to installation mode.
The radio transmitters of the water meter add-on modules are acti-
vated via programming stick. They can also be activated via laptop
and the parameterisation softwareACT50-MODULE.
After activation of the radio transmitter, the radio add-on modules
WFZ661 transmit in S- and C-mode: parallel transmission of walk-by
and AMR data telegrams In C-mode, the AMR data telegrams are
compliant with OMS. The data telegrams are used for a test readout
or for registration in an AMR network.
