With this, a tool magazine, a tool supplier or a loading portal could be realised with the tool machine. With the help of the positioning modules WF 725 and/or WF 726, up to 21 additional auxiliary axes can be positioned without having to evade to an NC control of the higher class.

SINUMERIK 3G, 3GE SINUMERIK 3FA Up to seven WF 725 or WF 726 positioning modules can be used in a control. Prerequisite for the use of the PLC software descibed here is the use of the PLC software ”Basic functions” (see chapter 6.7).

It is not possible to program a negative R-parameter value for setting a negative traversing path to the WF 725/WF 726. The value must be chosen so that the bit with the highest value is set (Internal presentation, please compare with interface in the PLC area).
The block must be called once for each axis. • To transmit an R-parameter from the NC to the WF 725/ WF 726, the user must decode the M-function set in the NC-program and set the corresponding bit in the parameter W-UE.
Ausgangsparameter gesetzt. Das Signal Datenübertragung läuft wird ebenfalls als Parameter ausgegeben. The FB204 calculates the position value for the WF 725/WF 726 from the magazine location number of the table (DB WZ-M-A). The FB then starts the selected axis. The presently traversed magazine location is calculated from the actual value signalled back from the axis by comparing with the table (DB-WZ-M-A).

M-P2 2034 It is a magazine/revolver with 4 locations. In MD18 of the WF 725/WF 726 'Number of increments per rotary axis', a value of 4000 must be entered for this example, and also for the last magazine location in the table.
FBs 4.69 3.2.1 Example for memory storage calculation A WF 725 is used in a normal PLC, for example. Two axes are auxiliary axes, the third axis is a tool magazine drive with 50 magazine locations. EPROM ”Basic functions”: 1.65...
When a Double-PLC is used, the functions for the monitor display are realised in the PLC 2. Therefore, the WF 725/ WF 726 must be plugged into the connection section of the PLC 2, and the corresponding software must be loaded into the PLC 2.

Programming example The example shows the use of a WF 725 where 2 axes are used as auxiliary axes, and the third axis is used as tool magazine drive. (The program blocks (PB) on the floppy disk are only an example for parameterisation of the function blocks and do not have to loaded to the PLC).
