13. Install one of the #3 logs as shown
to the right. The front of the log
faces the rear glass and fits
between the two rear logs already
installed. Looking at the rear of the
log, there is a cutout on the left end
of the log. The cutout fits around
the right and front of the burner
cluster shield. Push the log
backward until it is up against the
vertical fingers of the rear log grate.
The left end of the log should be
touching the end of log #1. There
should be a small gap between the
right end of the log and the end of
log #2.
14. Install the second log #3 as
shown. The front of the log faces
forward. The log installs in the
same manner as the previous log,
just facing the front of the
fireplace. The right end of the log
should completely obscure the
front of the burner cluster shield.
The char marks on the front of the
log should be visible between the
log grate fingers and there should
be a small gap between the left
end of the log and the end of log
#2.
The firebox should now look as shown below.
