11. Install one of the #2 logs on the
back right of the log grate as
shown to the right. Looking at
the back of the log, there is a
cutout in the right end of the log
that fits around the left end of the
burner cluster shield. A small
portion of the log overlaps the
rear of the shield. Small notches
in the bottom of the log rest on
the horizontal fingers of the log
grate. Push the log backward
(away from the burner) until it is
up against the vertical rear log
grate fingers.
12. Install the second #2 log in the left,
front corner of the log grate. The front
of the log faces you. There are three
notches on the bottom of the log that
rest on the third, fourth, and fifth
horizontal log grate fingers. Pull the
log forward (away from the burner)
until it is against the vertical front log
grate fingers.
The firebox should now look as shown below.
