7. OPERATION AND USE Warnings Regarding Use The E-MED stretcher has been designed and manufactured exclusively for Warning professional use. Use the stretcher only as indicated in this manual. Read the instructions carefully before using the stretcher and follow the prescribed operating procedures.

7.4 Lifting and Lowering the Stretcher Always advise the patient before adjusting the stretcher’s height. Warning UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES put objects between the base and the movable part. DO NOT MOVE the moving parts by hand, and follow the instructions carefully. Warning The stretcher’s height is adjustable by pantograph devices operated by a hydraulic pump through the foot control (11).
In order to lower the stretcher proceed as follows: • Lift the pedal (11) upwards until the required height is reached. 7.5 Lifting and Lowering the Back Always advise the patient, before lifting and lowering the back. Warning UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES put objects between the stretcherspring’s frame and the back section.
7.6 Lifting and Lowering Upper Leg Section (Mod. EMED/1510 - EMED/1512) Always advise the patient, before lifting and lowering the upper leg section. Warning The stretcher’s upper leg section is adjustable by a lever, which operates a gas-spring, which push the section upwards.
7.7 Lifting and Lowering Lower Leg Section (Mod. EMED/1510 - EMED/1512) Always advise the patient, before lifting and lowering the lower leg section. Warning Lower leg section is adjustable by a locking rack device. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES release the regulation handle if not sure of perfect locking by locking rack device.
7.8 Trendelenburg Always advise the patient before performing any adjustment. Warning Secure the patient with the safety belt (20) before performing any Trendelenburg’s adjusment. Warning The Trendelenburg position is adjustable by tilting the stretcher manually. The locking lever (12) locks the stretcher to the desidered position.

8. MAINTENANCE 8.1 Periodic Review The users must control the product at least once a year; the check must see that there is not damage that can compromise integrity and proper operation of the product. I.E.: • Screws properly fixed. •...
Every 2-3 months check that the all screws will be well tightened, verify the efficiency of the brake and if only it was not, see the adjustments of the stretchers with fixed height, or contact the Sidhil customer service for the other models. Every year perform a check of all the moving parts, especially for that stretchers under stress: the said stretchers must not present wear signs.
8.7 Storage Long storage term must be performed according to the following conditions: • The item must be packed. • The storage area must bedry and not exposed to direct sunlight. • The items must not be stacked up. 8.8 Disposal If you decide to no longer use this item, it is necessary to declare it inoperable.
9. CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY This certificate must be kept until its expiry date. It must be shown every time technical assistance is deemed necessary, along with the invoice, receipt, delivery note and document containing the name of the delear who sold the product. User unable to show the proper documentation will no longer have the rights to the warranty.
