Setting and Managing from a
Computer (Remote UI)
Follow this procedure for Remote UI management.
For details about the Remote UI features, see
"Settings from a PC, " in the e-Manual.

Prepare the network.
Set up the machine for use in a network, then connect
the machine and the computer to your network
router or a hub.
For details, see "Set Up Network Connection, " on p. 9.

Start up.
Start the web browser, enter the IP address of the
machine, then press [ENTER] on the keyboard.
For details on how to check the IP address, see "Check IP Address Setting, " on
p. 9.

Log on.
Select the user mode, then click
[OK].
If no password has been set for the machine, you can log
on without entering password.

Operate the machine.
Now you can manage the
machine using the Remote UI.
