CARE RELATING TO ThE UNIT
SAFETY
•    Before use, ensure that the unit is suited to the local mains power supply.
•    Unplug the unit from the mains by pulling on the plug and not on the power cord.
•    As long as the unit is plugged into a wall power outlet it is connected to the mains power 
even if it is switched off.
•    Immediately unplug the unit if any liquid or object enters it. 
Do not return it to service without an expert examination.
•    Never open the casing. The laser beam used inside the case may cause harm to eyes. 
All repairs should be performed by a qualified service technician.
wARNING: TO AVOID ANY FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD, NEVER EXPOSE 
THE UNIT TO RAIN OR DAMP.
wARNING ON LIQUIDS: The unit must never be exposed to dripping water or splashing 
and no liquid filled object (vase, etc.) should be placed on top of it.
wARNING ON VENTILATION: Using the unit must not interfere with its normal ventilation.
  
This symbol means that the unit is double insulated. It does not require an earth ground.

Read these instructions before using the unit. Handle glass panels with care.
Refer to your retailer or service technician for any question on installation, use or safety 
of the unit.
DO NOT
•    Expose the unit to temperatures in excess of 35°C.
•    Place it close to radiators or direct sunlight.
•    Place it in an ill ventilated location.
•    Place it close to a TV set, speakers or other objects that generate powerful magnetic fields.
•    Clean it with strong chemical products.
•    Apply grease or oil the unit's parts, mechanisms, etc. The CD player is maintenance-free.
•    Attempt to service the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to an approved service centre when 
necessary.
•    Use the unit if it does not operate correctly or if it has been damaged in any way. Switch off 
the unit, unplug it from the mains supply and refer to a service centre.
•    Remove any fixed covers as this will increase the electrocution hazard.
•    Leave the unit unattended during use.
•    Use the headphones at high volume.
•    Obstruct the air vents on the unit.
•    Insert objects into holes, slots or openings on the unit's case.
•    Let children use the appliance without adult supervision.
The unit may operate erratically when it is located in a room lit with fluorescent lighting.
