1. Disconnect negative battery cable 2. Gently pull out on the panel just below the steering column, rotate down and remove. Fig. 1 3. Remove the two 7mm screws (one on each side of the steering column) that secure the radio/instrument bezel.

8. Carefully pull the dash panel outward until there is sufficient room to allow access to remove speaker housing and disconnect wiring. 9. Install the amp/bracket assembly into position as shown in Fig. 7 and secure the top of the amp bracket using the supplied 10mm bolts.

Power Harness Installation 16. Find the rubber grommet in the top driver’s side of the fire wall underneath the hood and remove it. Fig. 12 17. Using a razor knife make a small cut in the center of the grommet. Pass the power wire through the grommet and pull the grommet up to the point where the plastic sheathing starts.

23. Remove the bolt securing the support brace under the steering column and connect the subwoofer harness ground wire as shown in Fig. 16. Torque to 8Nm. 24. Locate the 16 pin connector on the amplifier behind the left front speaker housing. Find the green/brown stripe wire and the gray/brown strip wire in this connector and install one of the self-stripping t-tap connectors on to each wire.

Troubleshooting the Kicker Integrated Systems If you experience a problem once the Subwoofer is installed use this guide to locate the trouble. The radio is working, but the Subwoofer is not working: • Check the battery voltage to make sure it is not discharged below 11 volts.
