Maintenance and repair
Please note:
• Observe the running
direction of the chain (X)
• Use the disassembly
tool 8 981 010 510 to
shorten/lengthen the
new chain.

Slide the chain from
the chain tensioner
along the return level
up to the drive head.
Guide the chain up and

around the drive gear.

Install the sliding
piece.
15.
Guide the other end of
the chain to the drive
head.
16.
Connect the chain
together and attach the
flat-top plate with hole.
17.
Loosen the chain
tensioner. To tension
the chin, pull the chain
tensioner as far back
as possible and fasten
it in place.
18.
Install the covers on
the drive heads.
19.
Install the cover
sheets on the chain
tensioners.
20.
Install the belt section
on the lift unit.
