OPERATING GUIDE

WARNING!
On some points of the machine there are some labels indicating:
– DANGER!
– WARNING!
– CAUTION!
– CONSULTATION
While reading this Manual, the operator must pay attention to the symbols shown on the labels. Do not cover these labels for
any reason and immediately replace them if damaged.

BATTERY CHECK/SETTING ON A NEW MACHINE

WARNING!
The electric components of the machine can be seriously
damaged if the batteries are either improperly installed or
connected. The batteries must be installed by qualified
personnel only. Set battery type using the procedures
below according to the type of batteries used (WET or
GEL/AGM/DIS/EXI/FUL/OPT/ENE(TPPL). Check the
batteries for damage before installation. Disconnect
battery connector and battery charger plug. Handle the
batteries with great care. Install the battery terminal
protection caps supplied with the machine.
NOTE
The machine requires four 6V batteries, connected and
installed in the positions shown in Figure 6.
Batteries already installed on the machine
1.
Ensure that the battery connector is connected.
2.
When first using the machine with new batteries, perform a full charging
cycle (see the procedures in Maintenance chapter).
Without batteries
1.
Buy appropriate batteries (see "Technical Data" chapter). For battery
choice and installation, contact qualified battery retailers.
2.
Set battery type according to the procedures below.
