• The extension cord must accept a three-prong plug.
• The extension cord must be as short as possible and not exceed 12 ft (3.7 m).
• The extension cord must be a three-wire No. 12-AWG (American Wire Gauge) or No. 14-SWG
(British Standard Wire Gauge).
• Make sure that cords will not be stepped on, tripped over, or subject to damage or stress.

BATTERY CHARGING INTERLOCK

Onboard Battery Charger: The battery charging interlock is a safety feature that prevents possible
damage to the battery charger and vehicle. The battery charging interlock will automatically engage
when the AC cord is connected to a power source. The vehicle will not operate when the AC cord is
connected.

EXTENDED STORAGE CHARGE

The battery charger can stay connected to AC electrical power during off-season or extended storage.

STATUS INDICATOR LIGHTS

The status indicator lights give AC power availability, charge progress, and charger condition.

Shows algorithm numbers 1 to 6 for 11
seconds if no battery is connected.
Charging is complete. Charger in maintenance
Mode.
Absorption phase complete. In finish phase.
