Video Board
To remove the video board, complete the following steps:
1.
Remove the rear panel (Section 5.6).
2.
Remove the options cover (Section 5.7).
3.
Remove any expansion boards from the expansion slots (Refer to the COMPAQ
PORTABLE 486c Personal Computer Reference Guide).

When removing or inserting cables with Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) connectors,
do not pull, twist, or apply tension to cables.

NOTE: The ZIF connectors in this product have mechanical latches that either
slide foreword and lift up or slide up to open.
ZIF connectors are opened before attempting to remove the cable.

Carefully disconnect the video board cable from the ZIF connector
