Troubleshooting
Table 5-1 lists the symptoms, possible causes, and recommended
solutions for common problems encountered with the Model 5825. If
your symptom is not listed, or if none of the solutions solves your
problem, please contact TSI.

Corrective Action
Switch unit on.
Replace batteries or
plug in AC adapter.
Clean the battery
contacts.
Reposition probe in
less-turbulent flow or
use longer time
constant.
Unlock keypad by

pressing keys
simultaneously.
Download data if
desired, then DELETE
ALL memory.
Factory service
required on instrument.
