Park motorcycle, ensuring that
support surface is firm and

Remove screws 1.
Pull inner trim 2 out of upper
section of fairing 3.
Release inner trim 2. Do
not pull on cable 4 for power
socket when doing so.
Installing inner cover
Install inner trim 2. Watch ca-
ble 4 when doing so.
Align inner trim and insert in
upper section of fairing 3.
Install screws 1.

Touching live parts of the ig-
nition system when the en-
gine is running
Electrocution
Do not touch parts of the igni-
tion system when the engine is
running.
